I think they should just have a server for each xpansion so you can create a char in vanilla and work your way through to modern at your own pace. Would it take forever? Yes. Is that the best way to experience all the content from previous expansions? Yes. Edit: just add a feat of strength for doing it and you wouldn't just get new players trying it.

The reason Australia gets it early is because their Internet is such 💩 that they need the extra time to download the patch.

The Expac cinematics for both Dragonflight and War Within were both quite underwhelming. Pretty to be sure but underwhelming for all of that. No direction and no sense of urgency. Sure there are places for quests like that in the game, but at the onset you want to be drawn in. Not confused and disinterested.

I have purchased the expansion but will not pay extra to play a few days early. Diablo 4 was the only game that I have done that for and that was a mistake. Do not need to make the same one twice.

Not everyone likes the same thing its impossible to please everyone but having plans and planned out expansions will produce better quality expansions without a doubt

If you don't really care but are a bit miffed... sure, buy the game and nag a bit. It's all part of it, isn't it? You know it won't change things because you're still paying. But if you really don't agree and start calling other people out on it, you're just a hypocrit if you still buy the game. You too can vote with your wallet. I personally don't care enough to either buy the ea or to nag too hard about it (I'll nag a little, though). But it just annoys me that people are pointing fingers. You can make your choice, let other people make theirs. That's all you can do and if enough people agree with you blizzad will feel it... as they did the last few years.

Fans really liked legion from a story perspective, but nothing has really been as good since. WOW gameplay is also stuck in the WOTLK time period. All this time and the only truly innovative combat has been Plunder Storm.

Totally unimpressed. The dialogue is still Saturday-morning-cartoon tier. Shifts and changes in a character are bashed over our heads with "show but also TELL REALLY LOUDLY". The new animations are high quality but far too cartoonish for me to take seriously at all; Anduin in the announcement cinematic was perfect but it's all been downhill. Once again, I'm disappointed and have to settle for just enjoying dungeons and raids with friends, because the story stuff ain't worth investing in.

I felt for a long time that Warcraft had lost it's fantastical elements in favor of being relatable and 'emotionally mature.' Arthas or Illidan, for example, were never relatable and certainly not emotionally mature but what made them generational character was because they represented certain values that the playerbase could look up, inspiring them to become more like them rather than the characters acting more like normal people (Or what Californians think normal people act like.)

I understand wanting to stagger the launch to reduce issues. But I don’t understand charging 40 bucks (extra) for early access. If you got early access for preordering before a certain date that would have been alright.

A new era of story telling... apparently means killing off and completely rewriting previously established and beloved characters that have been around for over a decade.

Having seen the new cutscenes, I dont have hope for the story of the game. The new lead character for the expansion is the ultimate DEI hires wet dream. Checks all the boxes.

I don't think they have the talent to accomplish it correctly. I'll be happy to be proven wrong, but the history just says nope.

I don't think that the new story is that bad. Even with the small cinematics in the early access make me much more engaged with the villains and characters. Dagran some of the new characters have good directions with their new stories.

I just want more heart and grit, along with cool antagonists. Xal and Idrikron are pretty solid. I do hope they eventually give us expansions with more exploration of the world. See new places and old places. I just want to explore a world full of conflict and full of adventure.

This is what they said at blizcon. This is what I expected when I bought the expansion. I dont get why people are surprised just pay attention to what people say holy f. Even more so the people crying wow needs a reset.. They aint going to reset before the story finished but they may after it does so save your complaints for after the 3rd expansion of this set.

How many people just want WoW to get a hard reset, change to a modern engine, put a 2 at the end of WoW, and keep the same gameplay? Exactly.

you can't fix wow story without a total restart, wipe the slate clean and have a direction , tie up the overall story. cut off old threads, bring things into focus, I don't think they can pull it off

I have early access, my son and I had fun yesterday when it was available. However, we didn't get the epic edition FOR early access.. important distinction IMO.

Our characters are mortal. We should view the world through mortal eyes. Higher level, meta understanding of the cosmos does not fit the setting at all. This is actually welcome.

I wish they’d just released the early access on Tuesday and then the official release for everyone else on Friday ... the only pull for me is that it releases on a Friday instead of a Monday ... I’d love to see the stats on % of purchases of each edition.

It's sad because i wasnt going to get early access because I was so close to 3k io and wanted to achieve that before the xpack but everyone doing those higher keys is gone. No one wants to do hard content this late :(( I think I'm gonna have to buy it
